The importance of Third-Party CBD Testing

At Alise Body Care, we are guided by our mission and values in the products we create.  In honoring our core values of authenticity and transparency, we create pure, high-quality and above all, safe CBD products for our customers.  This means we go to great lengths to ensure that our CBD products are of the highest standard and contain accurate amounts of CBD.   One of the ways we do this is by having our Full Spectrum Cannabidiol (CBD) oil and our CBD infused products tested by a third-party CBD testing company.

What is Third-Party testing?

Third-party lab testing is when a private party not affiliated with the manufacturer or distributor performs a scientific analysis of a product. With a lack of federal regulation, there is no standardized process for testing CBD, so it’s important to have your CBD third-party tested.

Third-party lab testing provides a neutral, unbiased source of information. It benefits the consumer because it’s the most transparent method. With an independent test, you can know exactly what cannabidiols are in your CBD product and how many milligrams of each.

What are COAs?

When we send our CBD to a third-party CBD testing company, the results are reported back to us in a Certificate of Analysis, usually referred to as a COA. We share the COAs with our customers to ensure you know what our CBD products contain and their potency.  We even provide a QR link on the CBD product itself. The customer can scan the QR code and be taken directly to the product’s third-party test results which are published on our website.

Testing and Alise Body Care’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for Full Spectrum Hemp Cannabidiol (CBD)

In order to meet our high standards in product quality, we have our CBD tested twice.  The first third-party test is performed on the Full Spectrum Cannabidiol Oil in its raw form.  Once we receive the results and they match our standards, we then begin creating our CBD infused products.  Once we’ve infused the CBD, we send a sample to be third-party tested to ensure the correct dosage (shown in mg on the label).

The GMP ingredient specifications for our CBD:

  • < 0.03% THC and THCa
  • CBD mg/g ratios that match our product specifications
  • no Residual Solvents
  • no Microbial Contamination

Want to see our CBD third-party test results?

Here’s the steps to see your Alise Body Care’s CBD products’ test results:

1. Scan the QR code on the Alise CBD product label or visit alisebodycare.com/cbdtesting;
2. On the CBD Test Results web page, search the list for the Batch ID that matches what is on the bottom of your Alise Body Care CBD product.
3. For each Batch ID, you can see the “Date it was made”, “Best by” date, COAs for Potency, Microbial and Residual for the product.

Pretty simple and transparent!
