Muscle and Joint Relief Salve Herb Blend
Our signature Muscle and Joint Relief Salve is made with 100% natural herbs and essential oils. These salves provide effective transdermal pain relief and also provide a warming topical sensation. The topical sensation is created by the pure essential oils, including our Clove, Peppermint and Wintergreen scent blends. Due to the 100% natural ingredients, these salves are wholeheartedly absorbed when applied to the skin and promote quick healing benefits and a soothing sensation.
INGREDIENTS & BENEFITS OF OUR SIGNATURE HERB BLEND
Below is a list of herbs included in our pain relief salves and a breakdown of their benefits.
White Willow Bark | Anti-inflammatory and pain reliever. It contains salicylic acid which lowers the body’s levels of prostaglandins (hormone-like compounds that can cause aches, pain and inflammation. It takes a few minutes to begin acting, it’s effect lasts for quite some time. |
Arnica Montana | Anti-inflammatory, mild pain reliever and stimulates circulation. Known to help speed the healing of soft tissue damage, bruising, and muscle strains and sprains caused by overuse or injury. |
Black Pepper | Stimulates circulation and can improve blood flow to muscle aches. Enhances bio-availability of herbal benefits contained in the salve. |
Cramp Bark | Relaxes muscular tension and spasm, can improve blood flow. Also known for relieving painful cramps, and even those associated with monthly periods. |
Marshmallow Root | Slippery constituent, soothes and relieves already inflamed or irritated skin. |
Calendula | Anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic, stimulates blood flow, stimulates healing for wounds, bruising, tissue strains and skin conditions. |
Burdock Root | Known traditionally as a “blood purifier”, lymphatic system strengthener and natural diuretic. Increases the effectiveness of the body’s elimination system, thereby helping the body to eliminate the toxins which are released by the body during massage and exercise. The body enjoys lengthy residual effects from the massage (release of tension, pain, stress, etc.) |
Comfrey Root | Pain Reliever and anti-inflammatory. Known to help speed the healing of soft tissue damage, bruising, and muscle strains and sprains caused by overuse or injury. |
Clove | Topical analgesic, anti-inflammatory and stimulates circulation. |
Cayenne powder | Stimulates circulation, pain reliever and anti-inflammatory. Enhances bio-availability of herbal benefits contained in the salve. |
Ginger Root | Stimulates circulation, pain reliever and anti-inflammatory. Enhances bio-availability of herbal benefits contained in the salve. |
BENEFITS OF ESSENTIAL OILS
Pure essential oils are added to our signature herb blend base for scent and additional benefits. Below is a list of essential oils added into our three different Muscle and Joint Relief Salve varieties, Clove, Peppermint and Wintergreen blend.
Peppermint | Anti-inflammatory, topical analgesic, anti-microbial. Stimulates circulation. Creates a cooling sensation and is calming. Contains Menthol. |
Wintergreen | Topical analgesic, anti-spasmodic, anti-arthritic and anti-inflammatory. Stimulates circulation. Creates a warming and cooling sensation. Refreshing and uplifting. |
Camphor | Anti-spasmodic, pain reliever, anti-inflammatory and stimulates circulation. Creates a cooling sensation and is calming. |
Cinnamon | Anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and increases blood flow. Relaxes and soothes sore muscles. Contains camphor. |
Clove | Topical analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial. Stimulating. |
